Analogia Volume and Issue Numbers
Readers may notice a slight inconsistency in the numbering of the two published issues of Analogia. For the sake of clarity and correct academic referencing, the Editorial Team has decided to explain the changes briefly and recommend the correct bibliographical referencing of the journal:
Analogia has altered the numbering of published issues in an effort to facilitate academic referencing of future publications. The first published issue of Analogia, dedicated to ‘Mary, The Theotokos’, bears the numbering ‘Issue 1, 2016’. However, the second issue, dedicated to St. Maximus the Confessor, bears the numbering ‘Volume 2, Issue 1, 2017’. The latter reflects the numbering system that Analogia has adopted and will maintain in future issues. As a result, the coming issues will bear the numbering ‘Volume 2, Issue 2, 2017’, ‘Volume 3, Issue 3 2017’, ‘Volume 4, Issue 1 2018’, and so on. In the aforementioned examples, volume numbers indicate the number of publications from the launch of Analogia, and issue numbers indicate the number of issues published in the course of a year. The first published issue, therefore, should be understood as being Volume 1, Issue 1, 2016.
